Bryan Erman is a partner at Carrington Coleman, practicing in the areas of securities litigation and business litigation.  He has represented clients in complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts and arbitration proceedings.

Mr. Erman has handled significant securities litigation, including class action lawsuits, shareholder derivative lawsuits, and securities fraud actions.  He has also represented clients in internal investigations and enforcement actions brought by various government entities, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, and Department of Commerce.  Mr. Erman has also defended companies and directors and officers in class action and derivative lawsuits alleging breaches of fiduciary duty and other claims challenging mergers, tender offers, and other major transactions. 

Mr. Erman also has significant experience handling complex business litigation.  He has represented clients in business litigation cases involving allegations of breach of contract, fraud, breach of warranty, breach of corporate duties, patent infringement, defamation, wrongful termination, antitrust violations, conversion, and products liability.

Mr. Erman was selected by Texas Monthly magazine as a “Rising Star” in Texas law.   He has also been elected a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Erman worked for Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating.

Representation of telecommunications company in lawsuit against service provider alleging fraudulent misrepresentations.

Representation of director in federal securities fraud action and state derivative proceedings alleging breach of fiduciary duty and corporate waste.
