Mr. Blanchard is a partner at Carrington Coleman whose practice focuses primarily on commercial and healthcare litigation, but also includes products liability, appellate law, and general tort litigation.

Mr. Blanchard’s commercial litigation practice has included matters involving partnerships and closely held companies, complex contractual disputes between sophisticated business enterprises, commercial mortgage backed securitizations, real estate (including commercial landlord-tenant disputes), commercial defamation claims, and employment disputes (including disputes involving theft of trade secrets, non-competition agreements, and discrimination claims).

Mr. Blanchard is a member of Carrington Coleman’s Healthcare and Products Liability practice groups.  His healthcare practice is focused primarily on representing hospitals in professional negligence claims.  Mr. Blanchard’s products liability practice includes experience in numerous industries, from toxic tort and asbestos defense to industrial machinery and aviation claims. 

Mr. Blanchard has been named by Texas Monthly magazine as a Rising Star in Texas law for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010.
