At Carrington Coleman, lawyers are initially chosen on the basis of academics and demonstrated performance. From the day they join our firm, associates are asked to take on critical roles and given substantial opportunity to gain vital hands-on experience under the mentorship and supervision of senior partners. The result is a seasoned team of lawyers, well prepared to provide clients the highest level of service and legal expertise.

Ms. Young is an associate at Carrington Coleman in business litigation.  While she has broad experience in all types of business litigation, she has developed a unique dual specialty in both the intellectual property and labor & employment fields.

Ms. Young is also active in the International Trademark Association (INTA), a not-for-profit membership association dedicated to the support and advancement of trademarks and related intellectual property as elements of fair and effective national and international commerce.  She also serves at the leadership level for the INTA as a member of the Law-Firm Subcommittee.

Ms. Young’s experience in the labor & employment field consists of representing parties in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as representing parties in state and federal court cases involving commercial litigation and employment matters, including employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims.  She has also conducted client workshops on compliance with the FMLA and ADA and how to make company policies and termination decisions that minimize potential liability.
