Lance Currie practices in the business litigation and securities litigation sections, and represents clients in a variety of commercial business disputes.  Lance has experience representing clients in industries including health care, telecommunications, and real estate.

Lance is also dedicated to his community and the arts.  He currently serves on the board of Second Thought Theatre—a company he founded prior to law school.  He is an active member of the Young Professionals of the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce.  He is also a member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association, where he serves on the Law Student Outreach Committee, and the Dallas Young Lawyers Association.

Representative Matters

Assisting in the representation of directors and managers facing negligent misrepresentation claims.  Lance’s work includes drafting court filings, participation in depositions, and addressing discovery related issues.

Assisting in the representation of an investment firm in a multi-billion dollar lawsuit defending against various allegations including racketeering, civil conspiracy, tortious interference, and defamation.  Lance’s work includes coordinating certain third-party productions, communicating with other counsel on discovery issues, drafting a variety of items, and preparing for depositions.
