Jennie’s practice encompasses a broad array of business litigation matters.  She represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of industries including health care, real estate, and product manufacturing.  Jennie is an active member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, where she co-chairs the Aid to the Homeless Committee and is a member of the 2010 Leadership Class.  Jennie also remains involved at Baylor Law School, her alma mater, coaching moot court and participating in other programs helpful to soon-to-be lawyers. 

Representative Matters

Represented hospital in various medical negligence cases.  Jennie’s work included taking fact and expert depositions, preparing fact and expert witnesses to testify, drafting and successfully arguing motions including motions to strike expert testimony.  Jennie also advised hospitals in various peer review and credentialing matters.

Represented oil and gas operator in obtaining successful outcomes in the Texas Supreme Court.  Jennie researched and participated in drafting of responses to petitions for review.

Represented various manufacturers in products liability and negligence cases.  Jennie’s work included taking fact and expert depositions, researching and drafting motions, addressing discovery-related issues, and coordinating on both the local and national level with various parties.

Represented defendant publisher in successfully removing the case to federal court and subsequently having case dismissed.
